EUROBLECH 2006, Hannover Simple, economical automation of welding joints. LORCH Schweißtechnik, from Auenwald presents at the exhibition EUROBLECH an intelligent automation system for circumferential welding, which is less expensive, for smaller production numbers. Welding automation is generally considered to be profitable for larger production quantities only. With the new automation solution for circumferential welding, LORCH offers an economically system for smaller quantities. No matter if it is MIG-MAG, MIG-MAG-puls or TIG, the LORCH automation system is a very flexible system and can be easily integrated in existing systems. The components of the system are the main control unit for all parameter controls, the work piece fixture, with torch bracket assembly, and cold wire feed system, for automated tig welding the real Advantage is the user can select the individual automation system for his welding tasks. The LORCH automation system can be build up ready for welding and production in 1,5 hour. The unique part of the LORCH automation system is the master unit which uses„LorchNet“ all controlled parameters are automatic. So the need for adjustments is very small. Only the base adjustments have to be made: work piece diameter, wire speed and the welding current. LORCH offers this system in four complete packages: as „Round 50 Basic“ basic system, as „Round 50 MIG-MAG“ complete system, as „Round 50 TIG complete system“ for TIG - applications and as „Round 50 TIG-CW“ complete system for TIG – application with cold wire feeder.
